Supply Line Tubing
Peak scientific recommends using only clean grade copper or stainless steel for
the supply tubing. The ring main and series lines should be ¼” OD with
the T-
pieces 1/8" on the incoming connections from the generators and 1/4" on the
main line connections.
The supply line for an expanded capacity system should be connected using t
pieces as shown below, in the recommended ring main layout. This allows for
the pressure to equalise.
Alternatively the system can be connected in a series as shown in the image
below. If a series layout is chosen, the Master must be the unit closest to the
instrument.
Should any of the generators fail, hydrogen will continue to be supplied and the
remaining units will increase supply to compensate. If the failed unit is the
Master, the next machine in line will take over this role.
