General Safety
The construction of the Precision 500 generator conforms to CEI / OSHA
regulations as they do not store any appreciable amount of hydrogen
internally. The generator only produces gas when the application places a
demand on the unit. The unit also meets the European Electromagnetic
Compatibility and Low Voltage Directives. The Generator is CE approved and
has the CE mark attached.
The maximum quantity of hydrogen stored in the generator at any one time is
400cc at a pressure of 6.9bar (100psi). This means that the Hydrogen
Generator can be safely installed in your laboratory and does not classify the
surrounding area as dangerous.
All the Precision 500 hydrogen generators have the necessary control circuitry,
both electrical and mechanical, to ensure the shutdown of the instrument in the
event of a fault or faults occurring.
