Take care to prevent liquids and foreign objects entering the machine during
cleaning. Do not use abrasives or scratch pads.
CAUTION
DO NOT USE ANY SOLVENTS ON THIS PRODUCT!
DO NOT USE AEROSOLS OR SCENTED CLEANING PRODUCTS!
6.1.2
Display Cleaning
Clean the display window with a lint-free cloth dampened with a mild non-abrasive
detergent, and then wipe dry using another such cloth dampened with water.
Finally, dry the window. Under no circumstances should abrasives or scratch pads
be used.

IF THE LCD PANEL BREAKS, BE CAREFUL NOT TO ALLOW THE LIQUID
CRYSTAL TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH YOUR SKIN OR CLOTHES. IF
IT DOES, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY BY USING SOAP AND WATER.
6.1.3
Lubrication
No lubrication of any kind is either necessary or recommended.
6.1.4
Interior Cleaning
Use a small soft brush to remove paper dust and other accumulated debris from
the inside of the machine.
Do not use cloths that leave lint or other kinds of debris. Do not use any liquid or
chemical cleaners, as the interior of the machine must be kept dry.
6.1.5
Cleaning The Sync Sensor
Firstly, remove the printer PCB as described in Paragraph 7.4.2.
With reference to Figure 30, locate the paper movement sync sensor. Carefully
brush and wipe the sensor and disk to clear away any dust or debris. Do not use
cloths that leave lint or other kinds of debris, and do not use any liquids or
chemicals, as the interior of the machine must be kept dry. Finally refit the
printer PCB.
