6.19 Rental Maintenance
Rental Maintenance allows you to add additional rental rates to items as well as
create the rental items. Before you do this however, you must create an item button in
the system that will prompt you to select from the rental items you have.
Start by going to your Home Screen and creating a new category for your rental
items. Now create a new item within that category. Name the item and give it the appro-
priate department based on how it needs to be taxed.
Now, to have it function as a rental item, check the Rental checkbox on Page 1 at
the bottom left of the item’s maintenance page. Two new selections will appear: Rental
Info and Rates.
Select Rental Info to add the items that you will rent to customers and their rates.
A new screen will appear.
