input connected Use this setting to allow the encoder group to use automatic input detection. Once a
new source is connected, that source becomes the active source.

should not be used when
Slate Mode
is set to
Auto
. Doing so will cause the slate to be displayed when switching inputs. If encoder auto-
switching is being used, set the
Slate Mode

Auto
, on the decoder. Refer to
