5. Remain on the line until the called party picks up.
To answer Call Waiting (and disconnect the current call):
1. Replace the handset.
The current call is disconnected.
2. Pick up the handset.
You are automatically be connected to the extension sending the Call
Waiting.
To answer Call Waiting (without disconnecting the current call):
1. Flash the switchhook.

The current call is disconnected.
l
The new call is connected automatically.
2. Flash the switchhook again to retrieve the original call.

Considerations
l
Call Waiting can be used without entering a message code.
l
Extensions that have DND
activated,
have a call on hold, are ringing (from
another
call), or are engaged in a conference call cannot receive Call
Waiting.
l
Call Waiting cannot be sent to an ML key.
