Tool—System data Convert
Converts system data (DSSYS) files created with a previous version of the Maintenance Console for use
with the currently loaded version.
This option is only available when the Maintenance Console is in Initial mode.
It is necessary to convert system data to use it with a version of the Maintenance Console other than the
version that saved that data. This is because each new version of the Maintenance Console adds new
options and settings that are not saved by older versions.
Note
When upgrading from a system without an MEC card installed to a system with an MEC card installed,
after converting the system data using this utility, it is necessary to pre-install the MEC card by setting
4.7.2 Slot [1-1] MPR Card Property
