If you press the USER button to which [PUSH AF] is registered in Manual Focus Mode, the camera 
performs high-speed focusing until the image is focused.

Switch to Manual Focus Mode. (

USER button icon.

Auto Focus will be activated and the camera will perform high-speed focusing until the image is 
focused.

The focus setting returns to Manual Focus Mode once the image is focused or a certain time has 
elapsed.

One Push AF does not work in following cases:

If you press and hold the USER button to which [PUSH AF] is registered, Manual Focus will be 
temporarily switched to Auto Focus.
