Connect the printer to your computer

Do not shut down using the standby or hibernation mode.

Setting your printer

Go to [Start] - [Settings] - [Printers]. Find your printer’s icon, double-
click on it, then select [File] - [Set As Default] (

Windows 2000

Default Printer]). If no icon is available, select [Add Printer], then follow
the on-screen instructions.

You may need to install a driver for your printer. Follow the on-
screen instructions and refer to the operation manual of the printer
on how to install the driver.
