Insert the disc at an angle from the front edge label-side up.
Removing the device
Place a finger on the center holder and lift up on the edge of the disc.

Push down until the center holder clicks.

If the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive has not been accessed within 30 seconds (in the case
of CD-ROM drive), 90 seconds (in the case of CF-VDD372) or 120 seconds (in the
case of CF-VDD371), the drive motor will automatically shut down to reduce the power
consumption. When the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive is accessed once again, the power
of the drive motor is turned on. However, approximately 30 seconds are required until
data is actually read from the disc.
Power-saving mode
If the vibration of the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive is excessive, set the [CD-ROM/
DVD-ROM Drive Speed] to [Low] in the Setup Utility.
Windows NT
When a CD-ROM or a DVD-ROM is being used, the Power Management Func-
tion operates following the settings of the Setup Utility. It is possible to tempo-
rarily disable the settings by pressing
