CLEANING AND LITTLE MAINTENANCE
Indoor cleaning
The inner materials of your motorhome, if used and periodically cleaned in the correct way, will
maintain for a long time their freshness.
Do not use abrasive cleanings, tools or supports that may cause scratches to the glossy surfaces.
Do not use abrasive products. Cleanings and products for the cleaning of the house are perfect and
suitable for this use.
We suggest to observe the following instructions for the cleaning of each single component:
Pillow covers, curtains or textiles in general
To avoid shrinkage and discoloration, use a dry washing. For small stains use cleanings with dry
lather or lather of a mild cleaning. The light small curtains can be washed with 30° water. Protect
your pillows from sunbeams to avoid discoloration.
Furniture
Run a soft and slightly wet duster on the surfaces
Washbasins and cookers
Use water and a creamy cleaning, without abrasive particles.
Windows
Exclusively use a solution with water and soap. Do not use alcohol products because they would
damage irreparably the surfaces made of acrylic glass.
Gas burners
Once a year clean the heads with a neutral soap in warm water; scrub with a not abrasive sponge and
rinse with warm or cold water. Do not lean bath mat on the wet PVC to avoid sticking together.
“Clear” waters tank
At least once a month make a complete cleaning of the tanks and their tubes with disinfectant liquids,
that can be bought in pharmacies. Remember that it is absolutely unadvisable to use the water of the
“clear waters” tank as “drinkable” water.
“Dark waters” tank
After having use the motorhome always clean the dark waters tank with a cleaning and rinsing with
a lot of water.
Thermoformed
Use exclusively a solution with water and soap. Do not use alcohol products.
Outdoor cleaning
The materials used outside of the motorhome have been selected for their particular resistance to the
aggression of atmospheric agents. A good cleaning, in particular after the stay in seaside resorts where
the air is full of salt, will help the motorhome to face the time.
Advices:
Remove as soon as possible tar stains, birds’ excrements, insects, rust or other substance that can
damage the coachwork.
Do not direct the water jet against the roof aerators or the external grilles of the fridge. Ensure that
you have closed all openings before proceeding to the cleaning.
Do not use corrosive or abrasive products. Do not use rigid brushes, hard dusters or other supports
that may attack and scratch the glossy surfaces.
Use a particular care in cleaning the acrylic glass of the windows. NEVER use alcohol or abrasive
products. Use a sponge, a soft duster or a buff with abundant water.
In case of need use specific cleanings for the PVC surfaces.
Do not scrub the dry and dusty glass.
