Refuelling
°During the refuelling, both petrol and gas oil, there is danger of explosion. It is very important that
during the refuelling all gas systems are closed!
° The in flammability point of the gas oil decreases adding petrol or petroleum. The danger of
explosion is therefore bigger if that fuel mixture is handled.
The refuelling vent is located outside the motorhome, normally on the left foreside.
Engine hood
° The open hood can be cause of injury
° The engine, even if off for a long period, can be still
° If you touch the warm parts of the engine, there is danger of burn.
° Do not intervene in the engine space if the engine is still functioning
° While driving the hood must be perfectly closed and blocked. Verify that the lock is clicked after
having closed the hood, pressing on the foreside.
DURING THE PARKING
Service brakes
During the parking always engage the services brake.
Stop wedges
It is convenient to provide the vehicle with apposite stop wedges, using them for a bigger security in
case of parking uphill or downhill.
Feet Stand
Depending on the models the feet stand can be equipped or afterwards installed.
° The foot stand must not be used like cric with lifting function. They only serve to make the vehicle
stable in parking.
° When you use the feet stand verify that they are solicited uniformly and that the load doesn’t
weigh on a single foot.
° Before departure all feet (if mounted) must be completely retracted and blocked.
° On crumbly and friable ground insert a big plate under each foot to avoid its sinking in the ground.
° To grant a correct functioning of the feet stand, care for its cleaning and lubrication.
LIVING THE MOTORHOME
Entrance door, motorhome doors ad external doors
When you leave the motorhome unattended, close the cabin door, the entrance door, the door windows
of the external peaks.
