Security rules - gas plant
° According to law dispositions, during the driving the whole gas plant must be closed. So close
down, respectively: the external faucet, the red faucets of the junction box and the faucets of each
device ( refer to the instructions of each device given together with this manual).
° Possible changes or repairing must be done exclusively by skilled staff. Turn uniquely to the seller-
and assistance net P.L.A.S.p.A..
° Let check at least once a year the perfect tunings’ and the joints’ resistance. For this check it is
necessary to address to a sell- or assistance centre P.L.A.S.p.A..
° Verify periodically the flexible tube of the detachable gas bottle that must not present anomalies and
porosities. Anyway change the flexible tube according to the fixed term with tubes in conformity with
the current regulations as regards security of the gas plants.
NOTE: P.L.A.S.p.A. denies liability in case of wrong use, damaging or change to the original
plant.
° In case of faults in the gas plant (gas smell, dysfunctional working) immediately close the valve of
the gas bottle. Well airing the room opening doors, windows, circle windows. Do not light matches or
lighters and do not smoke. Do not activate electric switches (service devices, lights, start). Caution!
There is danger of explosion.
Let check and repair the breakdown exclusively by skilled staff.
° before activating the gas stoves check that a sufficient aeration is granted inside the vehicle.
° Do not use gas stoves for heating. In case the motorhome or the gas devices are not used, close the
valve of the gas bottles.
° Each gas device has a closing faucet. In case the device is not used, close the corresponding faucet.
° the security devices against gas leakage are regulating organs with self-closing.
Verify their functioning at regular intervals. The security device must close automatically within 1
minute from the power of the corresponding gas flame. The power off is perceivable through a “clic”.
° During the refuelling all gas systems (stoves, healer, and boiler) must be absolutely closed.
Caution! There is danger of explosion.
° You can use gas bottle of 13.5 Kg. The gas bottles for camping with no return valve are admitted
only if provided with security valves. Bind the gas bottles in vertical position so that they can’t move.
° The propane gassifies till a – 32°C temperature, while the butane only till 0°C. Under these
temperatures gas are not under pressure anymore. For this reason in winter we recommend to use
only propane.
° Due to its function is the gas bottles rack accessible from outside and it is not protected from wet infiltrations.
Never obstruct the aeration scheduled system because it could obstruct the gas dispersion outside.
° Do not use the gas bottle rack as luggage trunk.
° The main valve of the gas bottled must be easily accessible.
° Close the gas bottles rack to prevent the access to unauthorised people.
° The gas bottles must be exclusively transported inside the apposite space.
Security rules- electrical system
° Change or repairing intervention of the electrical system must be done only by skilled staff or by
P.L.A. S.p.A dealers or by licensed centres.
° Before any intervention on the electrical system put out all devices and lights, switch off the battery
and disconnect the connection to the 220V net.
° To avoid dangerous short-circuits while disconnecting the battery, remember to disconnect the
negative pole firstly, and then the positive pole. For the re-connection make the opposite.
° If you need to change fuses, use only the original ones, with values reported in the operating manual.
