Gas bottles
The removable gas bottles are located in an apposite space which is aired and accessible only from
outside and is totally isolated from the inside of the vehicle. Always verify carefully that the aeration
grilles of the gas bottles’ space aren’t obstructed, but completely free: do not stow in the gas bottles’
space other objects.
Bind the gas bottles in vertical position so that they cannot turn.
Before removing the device for the pressure regulation or the flexible tube of the bottle, close the
main valve.
Connect the pressure regulator to the gas bottles by hand without using tools (like tightening key).
The screw connections of the pressure regulator have sinistrorse screw thread.
The gas coming from the removable gas bottle (provided with own closing faucet) reaches the devices
passing through the pressure step-down transformer and a junction box with several faucets(one for
each device), generally located inside the kitchen’s furniture.
Every users is besides equipped with thermocouple security valves that, in case of accidental switching
off, interrupt the gas leakage.
If you use two gas bottles contemporaneously, a pressure regulator with automatic switching must
be used. Leaving the motorhome unattended, it is advisable to switch off carefully each gas device.
Moreover always close the gas plant with the outside faucet and through the junction box with several
ways inside the kitchen’s furniture.
How to change the gas bottles
Close the main valve (observe the arrow’s direction)
Unscrew the gas regulator from the main valve
Unloose the fixing bands and extract the gas bottle
Place the full gas bottle in the apposite space. Block it using fixing bands (pict.29).
Screw the gas regulator on the main valve.
