Maintenance password
Entering the maintenance password provides everything that read access does, plus the
ability to calibrate sensors, clear status, reboot unit, and other station maintenance related
functions.
Setup password
Entering the setup password grants complete access to the station.
The default passwords are SUTRON1 for read access, SUTRON2 for maintenance access, and SUTRON3 for
full access. Please change ALL THREE passwords when securing your system.
Blank passwords are NOT allowed. All ASCII bytes are allowed except comma, semicolon, equals, and
white space. Passwords may be up to 47 bytes long.
Remote Password Change
A setting called
Remote Password Change
controls whether or not the three passwords may be changed
via remote access. The setting’s default is On, meaning remote p
assword changes are allowed. It also
controls whether or not the
Password Protection
setting may be modified remotely (see previous section).
