7.2.4 NETWORK
In the tab
Network
(figure 7-13) are collected the configurations necessary for the
direct Ethernet connection to an external PC (
Remote IP host; Remote port
), using a
"crossed" cable and one for a possible connection through the local network
(
Remote Computer Name, Local TCP / IP Settings
).
For more details on how to set up the external PC (in the first case) or change the
local configuration (in the second) refer, respectively, to Sections §9.4 or §9.5.
Figure 7-13: Configuration or the connection to a
a PC via Ethernet
NOTE:
In the case of direct connection, the variation of the parameters in figure 7-13 also
implies a modification of the similar configuration on the external PC. When
connecting to a local network you must contact the network administrator to properly
modify local settings TCP/IP.
Unless these operations are not carried out by staff with a specific training on your
PC or LAN configuration, you should not change the values on this page.
If you are unsure about previous changes, you may want to restore the factory
settings by pressing the [
Factory default
] button.
