7.2.2 GENERAL
In the
General
folder (figure 7-8) the system speaker volume can be changed by
choosing mute, low or high sound and the intensity of the display backlight (
if allowed
by the model installed
) can be modified as well.
You may also choose the "New Style" which provides for the display of the maps
acquired by thumbnails, or choose the "old style" by which each map is transferred
through the network cable to an external PC.
Furthermore you can choose between different styles for the visualization of the eye
focus as shown in figure 7-20.
After any changes, the options can be confirmed by pressing the [OK] key or
cancelled with [Abort] returning to the home screen in figure 7-1.

It is possible to continue (by clicking on the [Touch Screen Calibration]) with the
calibration of the
touch screen
. Clearly, if the touch is completely misaligned you will
need the help of an external USB mouse to be connected to the external USB port of
the device.
