IF YOU AREN’T A REGISTERED USER
•
Under the heading "Don’t have and Optikon Account", click on "Create one
now", fill in all items and sign up.
•
You will be allowed at this point to proceed with the download within 24 hours
after having received a confirmation e-mail from Optikon 2000.

Log and proceed to download and install
9.3 INSTALLATION OF THE KERATRON
TM
SCOUT SOFTWARE
Both in the case of installation of the Keratron™ Scout software from the web and
from the CD
before installing the new Scout software, remove from your PC all
previous versions.
In the case of CD-ROM installation:
•
insert the CD-ROM in the drive;
•
wait a few seconds: the HTML page will load;
•
select the hyperlink "English”;
•
select the hyperlink "Install Scout Rel xx.xx, for Keratron Scout & Keratron
Bridge";
•
when prompted, select "Run".
In case of installation of the version downloaded from the web:
•
using the operating system function to navigate through the system (Windows
Explorer or Explorer ), select the folder where the downloaded files are;
•
launch "Setup.exe" with a double click.
Both in the case of CD installation and the downloaded version, the configuration
process may notify some messages, for example conflicts with DLL versions, etc.
For the correct action to be taken, refer to the Troubleshooting section of the manual.
