6 INSTALLATION

6.1 INTRODUCTION

This chapter describes in detail the recommended procedure for installing the
topographer Keratron™ Nova.

It is recommended to strictly follow the instructions for installation and use, following
them step by step; in a short time you will learn all the information necessary for the
proper functioning of the Keratron™ Nova system.

6.2 OPENING THE PACKAGING AND INSPECTION

The unit has been packaged to minimize the risk of damages during transport. Open
the packaging and examine the components. When you open handle components
with the utmost care. When cutting the packaging material, take care not to damage
the contents. If the package or its contents are damaged, notify the carrier and
Optikon 2000 SpA as soon as possible. Make sure that the content is as specified in
the accompanying shipping documents. In case of in congruity, inform Optikon 2000
SpA immediately.
