Figure 7-22: Preview
By pressing the circular button you can see beyond the normal acquisition, the
reconstruction of the rings, the map of the curvatures and the axial map. The image
is not selected by default; it can be accepted by pressing the "
“ icon up to a
maximum of 8 images.
It is possible to scroll through the images pressing the large arrows on the right and
left or
clicking on the image to return instead to the preview of all images.
Now click on [SAVE] to save the examination on the internal database.
In the case of uncooperative patients in which the acquisition of the image is
complicated it is possible selecting in the capture screen figure 7-19, the [Burst]
option.
In this operating mode, the device will acquire an image whenever the photocells
detect that the eye is located on the [
OK
] position without holding pressed the
button/footswitch. It is plausible that many images acquired in this way are to be
discarded in less collaborative patients; many images will be with closed or semi
closed eye or off centre etc.
But this feature will allow to acquire images in bursts in order to leave the operator
the choice of the best among the many images, presented through a preview. The
number of images scanned during the examination is shown in the capture window
and in a maximum number of 48.
Furthermore the images, where possible (if well-centred) will be processed in
background).
