7.4.2. Standard CMOS Features
Selecting Standard CMOS Features on the main menu displays the following menu. This menu
allows the user to configure the system components such as date, time, hard disk drive, floppy disk
drive and display type.

Date
The Date item show the current date held by the system. If you are running a Windows OS, these
items are automatically updated whenever you make changes to the Windows Date Properties utility.
The date format is <day>, <month>, <date>, <year>.
day The day, from Sun to Sat, determined by the
BIOS and is display-only
month The month, Jan. through Dec.
date The date, from 1 to 31 (or the maximum
allowed in the month)
year The year, from 1994 through 2079

Time
The Time item show the current time held system. If you are running a Windows OS, these items are
automatically updated whenever you make changes to the Windows Time Properties utility.
The times format in <hour> <minute> <second>. The time is calculated base on the 24-hour
military-time clock. For example, 1 p.m. is 13
