3 Turn on the power supply to the PLC system.
2-3-2-2 Creating an I/O table
The I/O table identifies the units connected to the PLC and allocates I/O to
these units. The I/O table is stored in the PLC CPU. It is loaded at start-up.
If the configuration of a unit connected to the PLC is changed, the I/O table
must be created again to register the units to the CPU.
To create the I/O table, connect a programming device (such as a
programming console or the CX-Programmer software) to the PLC. The
following programming console can be used:
• Model number: C2090H-PRO27-E
• Key sheet (required): CS1W-KS001-E
• Recommended cable (required):
- CS1W-CN224 (2 m)
- CS1W-CN624 (6 m)
For CX-Programmer, refer to the CX-Programmer User Manual.
Note The factory setting of the unit number selector switch is 0.
Note The unit reads the unit number during the initialization after a power up. It does not read
the unit number after a software reset. Thus, the power must always be turned off
before the unit number is set.
Note If the unit number is set for the first time, or if the unit number is changed, an I/O table
must be created for the PLC system.
