Services pane
Use this pane to enable or disable individual services and processes running on the
OTMC 100
system.
All services are enabled by default. Disabling services that are not used or required for your
specific application will enhance the device security.
Precision Time Protocol (PTP) Select the checkbox to enable PTP support (propagation of time
information via PTP in the network).
Network Time Protocol (NTP)
Select the checkbox to enable NTP support (propagation of time
information via NTP in the network).
Internet Time Service /
Daytime Service
Select the checkbox to enable Time/Daytime support (propagation of
time information via the Time and Daytime protocol).
OMICRON Device Link
Select the check box to enable the service used by OMICRON
Device Link
or
Device Browser
to automatically detect OMICRON
devices in the network.
Zeroconf
Select the checkbox to enable detection of
OTMC 100
devices in the
network by clients that are able to handle mDNS/DNS-SD (e.g., the
Apple Bonjour tool, as an alternative to the OMFIND service used by
OMICRON
Device Browser
).
Simple Network Management
Protocol (SNMP)
Select the checkbox to enable access via SNMP.
File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
Select the checkbox to enable access via FTP.
OTMC 100
