III. Declaration of Conformity
The instrument meets the requirements laid down in Council Directive 2004/108/EC
relating to “Electromagnetic Compatibility” and Council Directive 2006/95/EC relating
to “Low Voltage Equipment”. The following standards were applied: IEC/EN 61326-1
(EMC) and IEC/EN 61010-1 (Safety).

The warranty conditions are specified in the sales contract. Contact your OLS representative for
further information. Any unauthorized modification of the instrument invalidates the guarantee
and service contract.

VI. Intended Use
The CASY TT is intended for highly standardized cell counting and accurate measurement of cell vi-
ability, cell aggregation and cell volume. The technology of the CASY TT combines a proven particle
measurement technique, referred to as the electrical sensing zone technique (ISO 13319), with a
modern method of signal evaluation, pulse area analysis. The CASY TT is intended for
life science
research
and must be used exclusively by laboratory professionals who are trained in laboratory
techniques and have studied the instructions for use of this instrument.
The CASY TT is not in-
tended for use in diagnostic procedures.
