Starting up for the first time
After verifying all installation work has been correctly completed and pellet fuel has been delivered, it is
time to commission the boiler.

To ensure correct combustion and overall operation, all
fittings to the combustion chamber must be correctly
assembled to be completely air-tight.
Note:
The unit must be started up for the first time by an authorized MESys service technician.
Before starting up the pellet boiler, the following settings must be made in the sequence specified below:
1. Output test - test all motors
2. Settings in heating controller (if installed)
3. Start the pellet boiler
Use the checklist enclosed to document the start-up procedure.
14.1 Adjusting the boiler control unit
Fundamental settings for the boiler are made during Periphery Learning.
14.1.1 Settings in the boiler controller
Parameters that you must adjust to the relevant boiler type.
Boiler power rating Setting in the Boiler power rating (only possible after periphery
learning)
Boiler setpoint temperature Setting the boiler setpoint temperature, default 158° F
Switch-off temperature Setting the switch-off temperature, default 165° F
Boiler-controlled pump Setting the function of the boiler-controlled pump, Speed controller
On/Off, if a accumulator is connected.
De-ashing system Activating the de-ashing system
Level detection system Activating the level detection system, if weighing cells are installed
(optional)
