10.9 Removal of the accumulator tank insulation
The insulation material insulates the Pellematic Smart XS. Removal is necessary in order to be able to hold
and carry the basic element safely.
1. Remove cover insulation.
2. Open the hook and loop fastener closure.
3. Carefully pull out the cleaning motor with hopper bracket, the washing nozzle line and the accumulator
connections.
4. Carefully remove the insulating mat.
5. Store the insulating mats, if possible, for later installation in unrolled condition on the floor by placing the
black side facing upwards.

If the insulating mats are rolled up, the black side must
always be on the outside to avoid the risk of tearing of
the insulation.

Handle the insulating mats only with gloves and long-
sleeved clothing.
