11.5 DHW Re-Circulation
General description:
The DHW re-circulation function will provide nearly instant DHW availability at all faucets in the system.
How it works:
By the use of a circulator external of the boiler, DHW is constantly sent to and if not used back from each
DHW faucet or appliance requiring DHW in the home.
This practice can eliminate the time it normally takes to receive DHW at any faucet in the home, but is highly
inefficient and can easily double or even triple the energy expended to provide DHW.

The DHW re-circulation pump is mounted outside the casing. Therefore the cold water pipe must be adapted
with a “T” as shown.

11.6 Suggested piping arrangement for combined operation
Combined operation as below. allows each boiler to operate as originally designed. Each boiler will operate
normally when wired as directed for single operation. In some areas, each boiler may be required to have it´s
own flue pipe and chimney, while some States or regions may allow combinig two boilers into a single chim-
ney and / or flue pipe.
