Print Job Accounting Software Overview
To use Print Job Accounting, you need to install both the Server and
Client Software and you must install one or both of the ES 1220n
drivers supplied on the CD which came with your printer.
1. Server Software
This is a management tool for the system manager. It registers
printers and users and sets print limits. Even when it is not
running, this tool acquires and saves print logs at the set interval
time.
Install the Server Software on the computer which will function as
the system's Server. This can be the same computer on which the
other server software, such as file server and print server, are
installed.
2. Client Software
This software gets installed, along with the printer driver, on each
client computer. It is used to set up the ES 1220n driver(s) as the
Print Job Account Printer Driver(s).
