The automatic document feeder
Use the automatic document feeder to copy a set of originals. You can put a
maximum of 75 originals into the automatic document feeder. This number
refers to A4 originals of 80 g/m
2
(20 lb bond).
■
The originals must have the same size.
■
The originals must not be smaller than 140 x 203 mm.
■
The originals must not be larger than 297 x 432 mm.
■
The weight of the originals can be between 60 and 170 g/m
2
.
Note:
Make sure that the size is one of the supported standard formats if you
use the automatic document feeder.
Before you begin

Divide your documents into subsets.

Arrange the different subsets in the required order.
How to combine subsets into 1 document

Put your first subset into the automatic document feeder, or put the first
original on the glass plate.

Press the function key 'Copy'.

Define the settings for the original and the copy in the 'Basic', 'Paper', 'Layout'
and 'Extra' sections on the operator panel (see ‘Types of copy job settings’ on
page 100).

Press the Set-build key .
The first subset is scanned.

Prepare and scan the following subsets as described in the steps 2 - 4 above.

Press the Start key after you scanned the last subset.
The job is sent to the job queue.
