Loading Paper in Bypass Tray
The bypass tray accepts special paper type or size that cannot be loaded in
main body trays or in the large capacity unit.
When using the bypass tray, be sure to specify the paper type to be loaded
in the tray. See page 9-44 for details.

Reminder
Do not use paper with staples or paper that conducts electricity (silver,
carbon, etc.), otherwise an accident may occur as a result of fire.
To avoid machine trouble, do not use coated paper as follows:
Heat-sensitive paper, silver-coated or carbon-backed paper, ink-jet
printer paper
To load paper in bypass tray

Open the bypass tray.
–
When loading large paper, withdraw the right edge of the bypass
tray to extend it.
