Innendeckel lösen und diesen abnehmen. Die Filterschäume vom Schaumhalter (6) abziehen, den Behälter, den Innen-
deckel, den Deckel und die Filterschäume mit klarem Wasser sauber abspritzen. Die gereinigten Filterschäume wieder
auf die Schaumhalter stecken (den
grünen
Filterschaum auf den
schwarzen
Schaumhalter). Die Griffe der Schaumhalter
von unten durch die Schlitze im Innendeckel ziehen, bis die Schaumhalter einrasten. Innendeckel in den Filterbehälter
einsetzen und alle Klammern nach oben umlegen, Filterdeckel aufsetzen und Pumpe einschalten. Zeigt der Schwimmer
des Wasserstansmelders nach dem Auswaschen immer noch eine mittlere bis starke Verschmutzung an, neue Filter-
schäume einsetzen.
Wasserstandsmelder reinigen
Den Wasserstandsmelder um ca. 30° gegen den Uhrzeigersinn (5) drehen und aus dem Innendeckel herausziehen. Den
Verschlussstopfen und den Schwimmer aus dem Gehäuse des Wasserstandsmelders entfernen und mit klarem Wasser
reinigen. In umgekehrter Reihenfolge wieder montieren, so dass sich der Schwimmer im Gehäuse frei bewegen kann.
Lagern/Überwintern
Bei Wassertemperaturen unter 8 °C oder spätestens bei zu erwartendem Frost müssen Sie das Gerät außer Betrieb
nehmen. Das Gerät entleeren, eine gründliche Reinigung durchführen und dabei auf mögliche Schäden überprüfen. Alle
Schaumstoffeinsätze entfernen und reinigen, trocken und frostfrei lagern. Der Aufbewahrungsort muss für Kinder unzu-
gänglich sein. Decken Sie den Filterbehälter so ab, dass kein Regenwasser eindringen kann. Entleeren Sie sämtliche
Schläuche, Rohrleitungen und Anschlüsse soweit wie möglich.
Verschleißteile
Filterschäume sind Verschleißteile und unterliegen nicht der Gewährleistung.
Entsorgung
Das Gerät ist gemäß den nationalen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen zu entsorgen. Fragen Sie Ihren Fachhändler.

Intended use
The Biotec 5.1/10.1 series, in the following text termed unit, is exclusively intended for the mechanical and biological
cleaning of garden ponds with or without fish population at a minimum water temperature of +8°C. The unit must not be
used for commercial or industrial purposes and not in conjunction with chemicals, foodstuffs, and easily flammable or
explosive substances.
Use other than that intended
Danger to persons can emanate from this unit if it is not used in accordance with the intended use and in the case of
misuse. If used for purposes other than that intended, our warranty and operating permit will become null and void
Safety information
OASE has manufactured this unit according to the highest quality standards and the valid safety regulations. In spite of
the above, hazards for persons and assets can emanate from this unit if it is used in an improper manner or not in
accordance with its intended use, or if the safety instructions are ignored.
For safety reasons, children and young persons under 16 years of age as well as persons who cannot recognise
possible danger or who are not familiar with these operating instructions, are not permitted to use the unit!
Please keep these operating instructions in a safe place! Also hand over the operating instructions when passing the unit
on to a new owner. Ensure that all work with this unit is only carried out in accordance with these instructions.
The combination of water and electricity can lead to danger to life and limb, if the unit is incorrectly connected and
misused. Prior to reaching into the water, always disconnect the power supply to all units used in the water. Electrical
installations in garden ponds must meet the international and national regulations for installers. Never open the unit
housing or its attendant components, unless this is explicitly mentioned in the operating instructions. Never carry out
technical changes to the unit. Only use original spare parts and accessories. Only allow authorised customer service
outlets to perform repairs. Never use the system for filtering fluids other than water! Ensure that the filter will not overflow.
Danger of completely emptying the pond. For your own safety, consult an expert if you have questions or encounter
problems!
