The sensor resets the detection of continuous move when the move is not detected for more than 1 second.

Standby screen displayed If “Snooze OFF” is selected, the alarm tone
sounds repeatedly for the specified time (01 to
10 minutes). If “Snooze ON” is selected, the
alarm tone for 1 minute repeats up to 6 times at
about 5-minute intervals. Animations are also
displayed on the screen. The alarm tone sounds repeatedly for about 5
minutes and animations also appear on the
screen.
FOMA terminal turned off If “ON” is selected for the “Auto power ON”
function, the FOMA terminal automatically turns
on and notifies you of the alarm. If the setting is
set to “OFF”, the power does not turn on and no
alarm notification is provided. The “ ” (Missed
alarm) desktop icon is not displayed on the
desktop even after the FOMA terminal is turned on.
No alarm notification is provided when the
specified time has elapsed. The setting remains
effective.
Call in progress

The clock alarm tone (“pipipi...”) sounds through the FOMA terminal’s earpiece 3 times. Animations
also appear on the screen.
Receiving or Dialing a call

The alarm may be notified or not depending on the situation. When alarm is notified, the alarm tone
sounds and the animation appears on the screen.
i-mode or sending/receiving mail

Alarm notification is the same as for the “Standby screen displayed”.
During infrared communication
or data transfer in OBEX No alarm notification is provided when the specified time has elapsed. When data communication
ends, the “
” (Missed alarm) desktop icon appears on the standby screen. → P.311
When an earphone/ microphone
is connected The alarm tone sounds from the earphones or speaker according to the “Earphone” setting. Also, an
animation appears on the screen.

set to “ON” and the PIN1 code
entry screen is displayed after
the FOMA terminal is turned on

Alarm notification is the same as for the “Stand-
by screen displayed”. When the alarm
notification screen clears, the PIN1 code entry
screen reappears. Alarm notification is provided after the correct
PIN1 code is entered.
While All lock/PIM lock is set Regardless of the “Alarm setting”, no alarm
notification is provided when the specified time
has elapsed. After the All/PIM lock is released,
the “ ” (Missed alarm) desktop icon appears
on the standby screen (P.311). If you turn the
FOMA terminal off while the All/PIM lock is set
and do not turn it back on before the specified
time has elapsed, the FOMA terminal is not
turned on even when the specified time is
reached and no “ ” (Missed alarm) desktop
icon appears on the standby screen after the All/
PIM lock is released.
Regardless of the “Alarm setting”, no alarm
notification is provided when the specified time
has elapsed. After the All/PIM lock is released,
the “ ” (Missed alarm) desktop icon appears

display, then the FOMA terminal enters Snooze mode.

) during the Snooze mode
emits the release tone “pipip” and the Snooze mode is canceled.
Stop by operating OFF Pressing any key stops the alarm tone and the display. Pressing any key again emits the release
tone “pipip” and the display disappears.
ON Pressing any key stops the alarm tone and the display and the FOMA terminal enters Snooze
mode. Pressing
y
during the Snooze mode emits the release tone “pipip” and the Snooze
mode is canceled.
