WARNING

Inspect the O2 supply connector carefully and ensure there is no leakage. If gas leakage is
significant, O2 concentration in the ambient environment will exceed normal O2
concentration in atmosphere, resulting in potentially dangerous O2 enriched
environment.

Place the O2 supply hose carefully, avoiding exposure to the environment in which
possible damage to the O2 supply hose is easily caused by cut or heating.

To reduce the risk of fire, do not use a low-pressure O2 supply that delivers a flow
greater than 15 L/min.
CAUTION

When the ventilator is sourced from an oxygen concentrator, never operate the
concentrator with a humidifier. Any humidifier system supplied with the concentrator
must be drained or removed before using the ventilator.

The ventilator’s oxygen control is not active when low-pressure oxygen is used. To
prevent possible patient injury, use low-pressure oxygen only in cases that the

low-pressure supply can provide an adequate level of oxygenation.

Before starting ventilation, ensure the appropriate oxygen source, either

high-pressure oxygen (HPO) or low-pressure oxygen (LPO), was selected during
configuration, referring to 5.13 Set O2 Supply Type.

To prevent possible patient injury, ensure that an emergency backup O2 supply (for
example, a gas cylinder) is available in case the low-pressure O2 supply fails.

The low-pressure O2 supply hose assembly shall comply with the requirements of ISO
5359.
