Chapter 3 Installations and Connections
WARNING
Do not use antistatic or conductive masks or patient tubing. They can cause burns if they
are used near high frequency electrosurgery equipment.
To ensure optimum performance of the ventilator, re-do System Check each time after
accessories or components like patient tubing, humidifier, and filter are replaced.
Adding accessories or other components to the breathing system of the ventilator can
increase system inspiratory and expiratory resistance.
3.1 Install the Main Unit

main unit with the two positioning posts on the trolley and put it onto the trolley in place.
To remove the main unit from the trolley, depress the trolley unlocking button and then lift it
up with both hands.
