Implementation Guide

•

Ensure that the power switch on the rear of the system is turned on. Press 
the front panel power button.

If the system does not power on correctly after checking these items, contact 
Nortel Technical Support at 

www.nortel.com/support.

No display text

If the system powers on and no boot messages or console prompt appears, 
perform the following checks:

•

Make sure the console cable is securely connected to the SMC and the 
terminal or PC that is running the terminal session.

•

Make sure you connected the console cable supplied with the SMC 
system.

If the system display does not function after checking these items, contact 
Nortel Technical Support at
