Synchronization status check reveals an interface is
down
Scenario
: After you complete the previous actions, the synchronization status check reveals
the following:
Actions
Check the communication between the synchronization interfaces of the firewalls.
TIP
:
Ping between the synchronization interfaces.
Ensure that the policies installed on the firewalls do not drop the synchronization traffic.
If the problem persists, disable and enable synchronization using the following Firewall
CLI commands:
/cfg/fw/sync/dis
TIP
: Wait for two to three minutes for the Check Point software to reinitialize.
/cfg/fw/sync/ena
TIP
: After restart, both firewalls restart.
Wait for two to three minutes after both firewalls initialize.
Check the Firewall status and the synchronization status using the following CLI
commands:
/maint/fw/status
