Cellular Setup for IP Reporting
The PERS-4200 uses the FIBRO protocol, which allows it to report to
Central Station receivers with an IP line card installed.
To enable cellular IP communications, confi guration is managed on the
Communicator tab, as shown below:

IMPORTANT! Service providers should follow dispatch protocol based
on the Emergency report to the Central Station receiver.
If Two-way voice is unable to be established with the User, the call list
and dispatch protocol will determine the appropriate response to be
initiated by the service provider. Two-way voice (whether outbound from
the Console to the Central Station, or by the call-back method) may
be helpful to supplement the report information with verifi cation when
available.
To enable Two-way voice call-back from the Central Station to the User’s
Console, a mobile terminated (MT) voice plan must be selected for the
unit.
Telit MT Voice Plan Setup
Telit has an MT voice plan available, which can be activated based on the
Dealer/Central Station service agreement with Telit.
Dealers who have equipment deployed under the Telit mobile originated
(MO) voice plan will have to de-activate the equipment on the old plan,
and activate the new mobile terminated (MT) voice plan for the device.
Dealers will also have to change the confi guration of the Console to use
the gprs02.motient.net APN (IP service fi eld) to support call-back.

MSISDN telephone numbers assigned with the AT&T MO Voice plan will
use Area Codes 500, 533, 544, 566 and 577. These non-geographic area
codes are reserved for personal communication services, and are an
indication that the unit is not confi gured to accept mobile terminated (MT)
voice calls.
In the example above, Area code 224 is assigned to this unit, which is
confi gured to accept mobile terminated (MT) voice calls.
