There are eight standard reminder message time slots that can be
programmed and one time slot for the system test reminder. Each time
slot has options that can be set.

 Slot  Enable

SLOT ENABLE

check boxes are displayed for each of the nine reminder

message time slots. Checking a

SLOT ENABLE

 check box will enable

the reminder message that is programmed in that time slot.

A reminder message that’s already programmed can be temporarily
disabled by un-checking this check box without loosing the reminder
message settings.

SEND REPORT

check boxes are displayed for each of the eight standard

reminder message time slots. Checking a

SEND REPORT

 check box

for a reminder message time slot will cause the Console to report a
non-acknowledged reminder message to the Central Station.

NOTE: For any time slot to report, the global setting for missed reminder
reports must be enabled in the Reminder Settings area.

 Reminder  Type

Four types of reminder messages are available:

•

Medication reminder

•

Ride reminder

•

Appointment reminder

•

Alarm

Select the desired type of reminder message for the time slot. When the
selection is made, the Schedule Type dialog box will display.

 Schedule  Type

Viewing or changing the reminder type or schedule type will display the
Schedule Type dialog box. This area is for selecting the dates and times
that a reminder message will sound.

A reminder message can be scheduled for

ONE TIME

DAILY

WEEKLY

or

MONTHLY

 with the Schedule Type selection.

Once a schedule is set, it will be displayed in the

SCHEDULE SUMMARY

area.

will be displayed depending on the type of message.

Choose a reminder message type.

2.

Select One Time, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly for the Schedule Type.

3.

4.

appointment to announce during the message.

5.

check box to enable the reminder message

time slot. The schedule displayed for the time slot will be grayed until
it is enabled.

6.

SEND REPORT

check box to have the Console send a

report if this reminder message is

not

 acknowledged. (Global missed

reminder reports must be enabled also.)

 Automatic Test Reminder Messages

Test reminder messages are scheduled as a monthly event. When the
programmed test reminder day and time are reached, the test reminder
message is announced and repeats once every three minutes until
silenced by pressing an emergency transmitter button.

NOTE: The test reminder cannot be cancelled and will not time out. The
Console will continue to announce “Attention: It is time to test your
PERS.....” until a pendant is activated to test the system.

NOTE: The test reminder message is enabled only in Home Mode and
Night Mode. It is disabled when in Away Mode.

 Setting Test Reminder Messages

Automatic Test Reminders Messages are enabled and set on the
Reminder Messages tab.

1.

To enable Test Reminder Messages, the Dealer or Installer should check
the #9 SLOT ENABLE box.

2.

Click the

TEST REMINDER

 button.

3.

Select a Day of Month and Time for the monthly test message to occur.

4.

Click OK.

 Test Reminder Operation

When the programmed system test time occurs, a reminder chime
sounds and the Console announces:

“Attention... It is time to test your personal emergency
system... Please press your personal help button”

NOTE: The test announcement will repeat every three minutes regardless
of the  AUDIO REPLAY DURIN

 TIMEOUT reminder message setting.

When the User activates their emergency transmitter, the Console will
send a test report to the Central Station, then start a two-way audio
session. The Central Station operator typically acknowledges the test
report with the User using two-way audio, then disconnects.
