C. Battery Backup
(option)
1. Verify that the battery backup unit mounted on the base of the oven
is installed properly as per the instructions below. Be sure the line
cord from the oven electrical panel is plugged into an outlet on the
rear of the battery backup unit. Be sure the battery backup power
cord is plugged into the outlet mounted to the base of the oven.
Verify that the cable with the 9-pin D-connector is plugged into the
battery backup unit. Battery backup turns ON and OFF with main
rotary switch located at front of the oven.

2. The battery backup unit may be removed from the oven if necessary
to test. It may be bypassed by unplugging the line cord and power
cord from the rear of the unit and connecting the line cord with the
power cord. (

Manual for further instructions for troubleshooting the battery backup
unit.
