X. PM Schedule
Monthly Basis
Procedure:
OEM Manual References (if any):
Lubricate square shaft with light oil.
Check conveyor chain for expansion or tension.
Lubricate edge hold chain, rails and CBS chain (If
applicable).
Check alignment of edge hold conveyor.
Clean exhaust ducting. (See note 1)
Vacuum dust and lint out of all blowers and external muffin
fans.
If equipped with an edge hold conveyor, Clean 1” dia.
(25mm) EHC support Rods with solvent or alcohol. Apply
lightweight oil to EHC support Rods.
Clean lead screws with solvent or alcohol. Apply light oil. *
Clean edge-hold conveyor (EHC) sprockets of any debris
accumulation and lubricate with light oil.
Clean exterior of machine or any grease or oil that may be
deposited by the auto-lube system onto the entrance and
exit conveyor panels (If applicable).
Wipe down painted surface of the machine with Fantastic
or 409 cleaner (or equivalent).
* For more than 80
0
C environment use high temperature lube ‘Krytox’(XHT-BDZ).
3-Month Intervals
Procedure:
OEM Manual References (if any):
Check DC Motor carbon brushes after every 2000 hours of
operation (Conveyor drive & Edge width motor). Replace both
brushes if the length of either brush is 3/16” (4.8mm) or less.
6-Month Intervals
Procedure:
OEM Manual References (if any):
Verify operation of battery backup unit (If applicable).
Refer to “operation” section in “Powerware”
battery backup manual.
Visually check for worn sprockets on edge hold conveyor
system.
Inspect Emergency stop circuit by activating E-Stop button.
Annual Basis
Procedure:
OEM Manual References (if any):
Lubricate edge hold conveyor width adjust drive chain (If
applicable).
Lubricate edge hold conveyor drive chains (If applicable).
Vacuum dust out of inside of machine.

NOTE:
1.
Do not start oven until all the cleaning solvent and vapors have been evacuated from inside of the oven. Run
Wakeup Job with hood open for 20 minutes.
