5. Operation
The harvest working speed shall be appropriate to the harvesting conditions
and the characteristics of the product to be harvested. It is recommended to
perform practical tests using different tractor speeds and observe which one
that best adapts to the local conditions.
5.1- Harvest working speed
Harvesting forage grass species such
as Brachiaria, Oats, Ryegrass, etc.,
due to their characteristics, requires
higher harvest working speed in order
to maintain proper volume and flow
in the machine feeding. Under these
conditions, the best result is obtained
by harvesting with a minimum speed
of 6 km/h.
DANGER!
Make sure the tractor engine is turned off
and the key has been removed from the
ignition before unclogging the machine.
Never approach the drums without being
sure that the tractor engine is off and the
machine without any movement.
5.2- Clearing (unclogging)
In case of obstruction (clogging) of the machine,
unplug the power take-
off and tractor engine immediately.
