2. Safety
Never get on the machine during its
operation.
Risk of falls with injuries to the spine, head
and limbs. Risk of death if fall occurs in the
feeding area (drums).
HOW TO ELIMINATE THE RISK:
Never climb on the machine, neither during
transport nor during operation.
Turn off the tractor, remove the key from the
ignition and wait until the machine is idle
before approaching or climbing any part of
the harvester.
Never approach your legs or feet
on the drums while the machine is
working.
Contact with moving drum knives will cause
very serious injury. Risk of disruption of the
parts in contact with the knives.
HOW TO ELIMINATE THE RISK:
Never approach the feeding area (drums and
knives) while the machine is working. Keep
yourself at a safe distance from the feeding
area.
Caution!
The knives, when they are in
motion, are almost imperceptible. Never
approach or attempt to touch the machine
if you are not sure that all components are
completely stopped.
Remember! After the machine is switched
off, the drums remain in motion for some
time due to inertia. Never approach these
components without being sure they are
completely stopped.
