2. Safety
ƒ
Transportation of the machine while it is coupled to the tractor must not
be done on public roads and highway. This practice should be limited to
properties and rural areas. Check the Department of Transportation on the
rules and applicable laws in your region, as well as the existing possibility of
transporting the machine with the tractor on certain parts of roads.
ƒ
Never allow people to be present on any part of the machine during transport.
Never use the machine to carry people or animals.
ƒ
Do not exceed a safe transport speed. Slow down and be cautious on rough
terrain and on bends. Always drive the tractor at speeds compatible with the
terrain or road conditions and size of the tractor used.
ƒ
Avoid sudden maneuvers especially in rough places. When towing a load
with a weight greater than that of the tractor, do not exceed 16 km/hour.
ƒ
Pay special attention when moving with the machine engaged in sloping
terrain. If you notice an imbalance, reduce the acceleration. When descending,
keep the tractor always engaged.
ƒ
Before lowering the tractor or performing any maintenance operations,
engage the parking brake (if present), turn off the engine and remove the
ignition key.
ƒ
Mount sufficient weights so that the tractor's front tires maintain sufficient
contact with the ground. The tractor must always be maneuverable.
ƒ
Never operate the machine for extended periods indoors and without
ventilation, the carbon monoxide expelled by the exhaust fumes from the
tractor is highly toxic and harmful to the health of people and animals.

Never drink alcohol and drive the tractor.
