STEERING CHAIN ADJUSTMENT
1
Both the upper and lower steering chains should be adjusted so that they have about 1/4” (6.35 mm) to 1/2” (12.7 mm) total deflection
with moderate pressure applied at the points shown in Figure 1. Move the idler sprockets in their slots to adjust chain tension.
Lower Chain total deflection should be 1/4" (6.35 mm)-1/2" (12.7 mm)
with moderate pressure applied at this point on the chain.
Upper Chain total deflection should be 1/4" (6.35 mm)-1/2" (12.7 mm)
with moderate pressure applied at this point on the chain.

BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
To perform Brake System service adjustments: Lift the Battery / Controller Compartment Cover (secure with prop rod) to access brake
components.
Caliper Pad Wear:
1
See Figure 2. Loosen the large Outer Nut (A), then turn the Inner Caliper Adjustment Screw (B) in to compensate for pad wear.
NOTE: Do Not over adjust to the point that the pad drags excessively against the brake rotor. After making the adjustment, the
machine should push easily when the brake is not engaged.
