TRACTION MOTOR AND/OR TRACTION BEARING REPLACEMENT
Removal
1. Drive the machine on a level ground.
2. Turn the ignition key (10) to OFF position and activate the parking brake (17).
3. Open the hood (21) and fix it with the support rod (36).
4. Disconnect the battery electrical connector (38) and then close the hood (21).
5. Remove the hopper (35) (see Use and Maintenance Manual).
6. Remove the screw (51) and the knob (50) and open the related doors (40 and 39).
7. Unscrew the nuts (A) of the doors (40 and 39) and remove them.
8. Remove the screws (32) and the cover (44).
9. Disconnect the traction motor electrical cables (A and B) from the deactivation key (43) connection (D) and
from the connection (E) on the electronic board. Remove the cables (B and C) from the retainers along its
run up to the traction motor.
10. By means of a proper lifting system, hook the machine at the rear anchorages (34) and lift it 20 cm from the
ground. Then securely fix it in this position.
11. Remove the screws (F) on both sides of the machine and lower the rear axle assembly (G).
Disassembly at the cabinet bench
12. Remove the screws (H) and the wheels (I) on both sides, then recover the keys (L).
13. Remove the four screws (M) on both sides.
14. Remove the eight screws (N) and the supports (O and P).
15. Remove the motor assembly (Q) from the support (R).
16. Recover the four bearings (S) after loosening the dowels (T).
24. Install in the reverse order of removal, taking care of the tightening sequence: first the screws (M), then the
screws (N) and the dowels (T).
