SWEEPING SYSTEM
VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE BELT FROM THE ENGINE TO THE MAIN
BRUSH
1.
Turn the ignition key (10) to OFF position and activate the parking brake (17).
2.
Remove the screw (51) and open the left side door (40).
3.
Visually inspect the timing belt (A) condition from the engine to the main brush.
4.
If the timing belt is worn, replace it performing the following procedure.
5.
Carry out step 1. and 2. in the reverse order.

BELT REPLACEMENT
1.
Turn the ignition key (10) to OFF position and activate the parking brake (17).
2.
Remove the screw (51) and open the left side door (40).
3.
To ease-off the belt tension, loosen the screws (A) and move the engine (B) in the direction indicated by the
arrow.
4.
Remove the belt (C) from the pulleys.
5.
Install the new belt (C) on the pulleys.
6.
To tension the belt, move the engine (B) in the opposite direction of the arrow and then tighten the screws (A).
7.
Carry out step 1. and 2. in the reverse order.
