Electric actuator 145 5573 000 is used on models SR 1100-1200-1300,
in the MAIN BROOM RAISE/LOWER SYSTEM. This actuator is equipped
with internal limit – end of stroke – microswitches.
In the event that something – e.g. a strip wound around a main broom hub
shaft - blocked the main broom up/down movement the mentioned internal
limit switches could work not properly. So doing a damage either of the
actuator electric motor or of the machine electronic circuit board could
occur.
In order to prevent this critical condition the use of A 2.5 Amp rating
protection fuse is RECOMMENDED; the fuse holder must be inserted in
series with one of the two wires of the actuator ELECTRIC MOTOR (do not
use anyone of the six wires coming from the actuator limit switches
compartment).
Cut the blue electric motor wire and insert the fuse holder (see picture 3).
The two wire connections must be protected with thermal-fitting plastic
case (see picture 1). The fuse holder has to be fixed to the actuator electric
motor by means of a plastic strip clamp (see picture 2).
