MAIN BRUSH HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
MAIN BRUSH REPLACEMENT
1.
Turn the ignition key (10) to OFF position and activate the parking brake (17).
2.
Unscrew the knob (50) and open the right side door (39).
3.
Unscrew and remove the fixing knobs (B) of the brush compartment cover.
4.
Remove the brush compartment cover (B).
5.
Pull out the worn brush (C).
6.
Install the new brush on the machine and ensure that its flange (D) correctly fits on the related entrainer hub
(E). Check also that the entrainer hub is free from dirt or foreign materials (cords, clothes, etc.) accidentally
rolled up.
7.
Carry out steps from 1. to 4. in the reverse order.
Remark: This machine is equipped with an automatic adjustment of the pressure (and of the
position) of the main brush; so, no adjustment is needed.
If the “800” code appears on the screen it means that the main brush is worn and it needs to be
replaced.
Remark: Brushes with harder or softer bristles are available. This procedure is applicable to each
type of brushes.
