Setting the Auto On/Off feature

7. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Close .
You return to the Profiles screen.
To delete a notification profile
1. On the Home screen, click the Profiles icon. The Profiles screen appears.
2. Select the profile that you want to delete and click the trackwheel to view the
menu. Click Delete . A dialog box prompts you to confirm the deletion.
3. Click Delete .
You return to the Profiles screen, and the profile is no longer listed.
Setting the Auto On/Off feature
You can set whether you want your handheld to turn on and off automatically at
specified times. Setting the Auto On/Off feature also helps to conserve your
handheld battery.
To set the Auto On/Off feature
1. On the Home screen, click the Options icon. The Options screen appears.
2. Click Auto On/Off . The Auto On/Off screen appears.
3. In the fields that you want to set, press the Space key until the preferred
option appears.
Note: You cannot delete the preprogrammed notification profiles.
Warning: If you are in an area where wireless signals might interfere with normal
operations (for example, on an airplane), turn off your handheld’s radio. On the Home
screen, click the
Turn Wireless Off icon. Do not use the Auto On/Off feature. Refer to
"Important safety information" on page 9 for more information on areas where
interference might occur.

The Auto On/Off feature is accessible through the Options application.
The Options icon appears on the Home screen.
