Configure New APN Settings
1. In the PDP Context field of the menu, enter the following information:
a. CID.
Select
1
if the system has an AT&T or International-type modem installed.
Select
3
if the system is using a Verizon modem.
For model ME90G1-WW, the cid must be confirmed by the service provider. Options range
from 0 to 6 for this worldwide modem.
2. PDP Type – select IP as the default. If the IP setting does not work, try IPV4V6 followed by the other
options, as this may differ depending on service provider.
3. APN
a. Choose from a variety of pre-selected APN values.
b. If the required APN is not on the list, which will often be the case, enter the proper APN enclosed in
quotations.
4. Active cid
a. In most instances, only one cid will be necessary and this cid will match the Active cid. However, it is
possible to set two different PDP contexts with varying cids. If this is the case, ensure to set the proper
Active cid for communication.
5. Once the values are entered, click Set. Once the settings are committed, a prompt will appear indicating it
was successful.
6. It is recommended to read back the APN settings via the AT+CGDCONT? direct command following the
change to verify they are properly listed on the modem.
